Professor John U. Eke

John Ubochi Eke. fnato, qitm, cdea, a Professor of Mathematics Education from
Pacific Western University, USA, is a Nigerian who also holds professional
certificate from International Development Management Institute (IDMI) on Policy
Analysis and Administration.

Dr. Eke was a major contributor to the decree that re-established National Primary Education Commission (NPEC) in 1993/1994 and who also contributed three (3) memoranda toward the passing of the bill that established the Universal Basic Education Commission law in the year 2000 by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He had served as Chancellor, Institute of Empowerment and Strategy (in collaboration with UNITED NATIONS – UN) and later appointed the Commissioner for Education, Ebonyi State of Nigeria. He was at one time a lecturer of mathematics, Institute of Education, University of Abuja, Nigeria.
