Zim (Dr.) David Uwakwe

His career odyssey commenced in 1984 with engagement as an Audit Trainee in Patrick Uwakwe & Co. Chartered Accountants – a foremost Audit Firm in Kaduna, northern Nigeria and climaxed in his appointment as Internal Auditor at Turners Building Products (Arewa) Limited, Kaduna.

Resulting from methodical professional training, field experience, and several senior management career enhancement courses in finance, Corporate Governance/System analysis and Internal Control Design(preventive & detective) and Policy Compliance & Efficacy Measurement, he developed core competences and expertise in Receivership/Liquidation, project revamp programmes and served as a Receiver Agent under the appointments of several Nigerian banks, key amongst which include; Union Bank, First Bank and the Nigerian Industrial Development
Bank ( NIDB- later Bank of Industry).

He founded Dues Limited in 1996, as a platform to launch him into private practice and entrepreneurship. The company is chiefly engaged in Project Funding Solutions and Business Development Consultancy and therefore aptly laid solid  foundation for deployment of his outstanding skills and competences in forging strategic alliances and alignments with reputable Business Development & Funding Support groups overseas with unlimited access to humanitarian money-shops in Europe and USA.

He serves on the Board of several companies in and outside Nigeria, including but not limited to Eurodues Swiss AG, Switzerland, Eurodues FTZ Development Company Limited, Ireka Petroleum Refinery Limited, Dues Industries And Farms Limited, Nordic Construction Company Limited, amongst others.

Mr. Uwakwe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Administration from University of Abuja and a doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) awarded by Western Ville University, San Diego -California, USA. He is well regarded as a vertical thinker, an avid reader and scholar, a skillful entrepreneur, and a polyvalent project development expert. He is a consummate philanthropist, a community leader with deep passion for humanitarian works. Mr. Uwakwe is
happily married with two adorable daughters.
