With passion and specialty in Gender and Development deriving from her Bachelors Degree works (Political Science) at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nkechi-Dave Uwakwe had advanced and obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration/Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, Nigeria in 2005.

Currently working on her doctorate programme in Development Studies in Prowess University, Delaware, USA, she sits on the Board of Ireka Refinery on the appointment of DUES Ltd. – the lead local Investors/Promoters of Ireka Refinery.
